Homeland – A Very Very Short Film
Wow, after spending 2 – 3 years trying to fix this blog I finally did it. All I needed to do was reinstall WordPress, something was wrong with the config file but we will leave that kind of talk for my other geeky blog. So here we are people, so much has happened since my last post. Jade and I are working on a massive update which will follow very soon but for now I want to talk about my recent short film.
I recently enrolled at SAE for a 8 week, intensive Guerilla Video production short course. It was really challenging since I had to balance a new job, studying at Red & Yellow and raising two hyperactive versions of myself. I met quite a few interesting people, one guy called Tuko Luva Dura particularly stood out.
After 8 weeks of theory and practical, we were expected to produce a body of work that was suppose to illustrated just how much you actually took in. I really lived my concept but due to lack of time and maybe even effort, I came up with this piece of shit work. In a weird way, I really love it. It’s called Homeland because Woodstock’s where I live but it’s also the homeland of many other people, some new and some indigenous.
