My Dog Renji Part 2
he veterinarian was absolutely fantastic but extremely expensive, we indentified that it was scabies also know as mange.
Renji left the animal hospital with a hair new hair, antibiotics, dip, shampoo and some hope, I was left with an empty wallet. My ex and myself had to self medicate as we had also contracted the infestation, it is not that harmful to humans but it left us scratch like hell.
We started his treatment and he began to inch less and less, good progress was being made and like most things in life it was too good to be true.
3 weeks down the line he was bitten on the jaw by one of the older dogs , it looked as if his Jaw was broken or dislocated so we rushed him to the vet. I was really upset and shamefully kicked Peaches the dog who had bitten him senseless.
Renji was rushed into the surgery room , I could not bare to watch as the Vet accessed his Jaws. when I looked again, the operaion was over , it appears that his gums was merely stuck to his tooth and this cuased the appearance of a broken Jaw.
It was painless and quick, he also got a free Sulphur Dip for his mange ridden coat ,help we didn’t pay for anything but a camouflage hooded jacket that I liked and bought for him.
The panic was over and all that was left was sense of relief, This experience had brought me closer to my ex and conveniently at a time we needed it.
